What is a 3D/4D/5D (HD Live) Scan?

The 3D/4D/5D scan provides a comprehensive view of your baby’s growth and well-being. This scan is an excellent way to see your baby’s face, hands, feet, and movements, helping you bond with your baby before birth.

Available after 13 weeks of pregnancy, it is most effective between 18 and 34 weeks. The scan combines 3D/4D/5D imaging with assessments of your baby’s health, including:

• Heartbeat monitoring
• Movement observation
• Placental position
• Amniotic fluid levels
• Baby’s position

Your sonographer will capture these details and provide a report that can be shared with your midwife or healthcare provider.

• Health Monitoring: Along with the beautiful images, the scan includes key checks on your baby’s well-being and development.
• Flexible Rescan Option: If your baby’s position makes it difficult to get clear images, we may suggest a short walk to encourage movement. If that doesn’t work, we’ll offer a free re-scan at a later date.
• Scan Upgrade if Necessary: If we cannot capture the desired 3D/4D/5D images, your scan will be upgraded to a Wellbeing and Growth Scan, including a color Doppler assessment of fetal-maternal blood flow.
